My Favorite Styles!

One of my favorite outfits is the one you see above – something that you are most likely to see me in on a typical day. Comfortable and simple – a loose fitted tank top, some distressed cut off jean shorts and some black booties that will dress up this casual look. I’m also wearing my favorite double sided pearl earrings from Baubles n Gems which adds a sense of classy sophistication to any outfit.

White button-down shirts should be a staple in every girl’s closet. It’s definitely one of my personal favorites. You can dress it up and wear it business casual to the office with some pants or dress it down with a fun and playful printed skort and wear it out on a day out on the weekend like the one I have in this photo.

Stripes are one of my favorite prints to wear, but it’s also a tricky print because sometimes horizontal prints will make you like wider than you actually are and no one wants to look fat! This vertical stripe mini dress is made of a great fabric that isn’t too thin and won’t fly around when the wind blows. The tie at the waist cinches in my waistline creating an illusion of a smaller waist.

What girl does not like getting dolled up? One of my favorite styles is my little black dress – this black floral lace dress is perfectly fitted, yet not too tight so it won’t show if you have a little dessert on a date night out. Pairing a little black dress with a statement necklace makes me feel glam and feminine.

Damn, Nicole. Back at it again with those distressed jean shorts! I told you they were one of my favorites – here, I paired my favorite denim staple here with a simple black flowy crop top.

Crop tops in the summer time is one of my favorite items of clothing I like to incorporate in warm weather outfits, once it gets hotter than 85 degrees – the belly button is coming out. This basic black denim shorts is also something that I recycle often in the summer because of how easily it matches with everything.

I was recently inspired by Social Print Studio to create a little lookbook with some of my favorite styles and outfits. With their collection of photo books, it’s a great way to display some of your favorite photos of your outfits! Don’t leave all those fun photos of you and your friends stuck in your phones – bring them to life! Social Print Studio’s photo books make great coffee table books for you to showcase all your favorite memories.

Banana Two Piece Set + Bunny Headband from Style Moi || Crystal Tennis Bracelet from Baubles n Gems || Green Wedge Sandals from H&M || Bag from Chloe

Photos by Christy Truong (@ohitschristy)

This is the first two-piece matching set that I’ve owned from Style Moi and I looove it – the banana print all over is so fun and cute; this outfit also came with a matching green bunny headband. Super adorable! I ventured with Christy to Fullerton and she showed me this cute little wall of greenery and cafe where we were able to snap some photos of this outfit. I paired this outfit with these bright green espadrille wedge sandals that I purchased a few summers ago from H&M.

Weekend of Fun at the Mall

If you haven’t heard yet – Baubles n Gems is going to be a vendor at the OC Night Market at OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa next weekend May 8-10 which is also Mother’s Day Weekend! Treat your mamas out for a cultural experience at an asian-themed night market with all sorts of delicious and interesting food that you can’t get anywhere else, local artists, music, entertainment and fun for the whole family. We’ll be offering a handpicked selection of all of our best selling jewelry items and new arrivals like these colorful leather wrap semi-precious stones beaded bracelets.

Pulling out my Chloe shoulder bag out from the closet – this camel colored purse goes with all my favorite summer outfits. My reflective sunglasses and acid-washed high waisted denim cutoff shorts are from Forever 21. Picked up this cute pirate-looking cold-shoulder semi-sheer top from Abercrombie – at first I wasn’t too sure about how I would wear it and thought it would make me look poofy because of the elastic part at the bottom but pairing it with some fitted denim shorts seems to make the whole outfit not seem to fluffy.

DSC06696_Edit DSC06698_Edit DSC06699_EditAt the mall I was able to visit my little brother at work and if you haven’t gotten the chance to visit one of the Zoogamo locations to ride these adorable and fun motorized stuffed animals then you’re totally missing out! It’s not only for children and there’s so many cute animals you can choose from like a panda, the Pink Panther, a reindeer, an elephant, the cow that I rode and many more! Zoogamo also carries a variety of fun toys and activities like this clay figurines that you can DIY or Lego zoo animals and this stuffed elephant that matched perfectly with my Elephant Midi Ring.

Hope everyone had a fun and relaxing weekend!

Silver Obsessions

img1803img1799 img1791

Obsessed with how fun and creative this Silver Shoulder Chain is – there’s so many ways you can wear it and style this simple yet unique accessory. Here I wore it over a White Lace Bralette that I got from Forever 21 a while back and a pair of cream colored floral shorts that I thrifted back when I was visiting in Toronto. That thrift store had this awesome deal where they give you a large plastic bag and you get to go in a little sectioned off area where you can stuff as much as you can in that bag and pay $20CAD. My rose-colored sunglasses have been my favorite pair of shades to wear this whole month because not only does it protect from UV rays but it puts a bright pink tint on everything I see.

I feel like I’m seeing large silver statement necklaces everywhere! It dresses up any casual outfit with a touch of sass and ethnic interest. Inspired by the bohemian vibes of summer fashion – this silver statement piece is one of my favorite pieces to wear when an outfit seems a tad plain and I want to spice it up a little. Above, I’m wearing an all black outfit – a cold-shoulder top and distressed shorts both from Forever 21. The ear cuffs I’m wearing come in silver and gold colors and you can pick from a crystal detailing or a pearl detailing. It requires no piercing so there’s no commitment or pain and you still get to wear this edgy accessory!
